Automation engineer and software developer with 20+ years of experience building systems where software meets real hardware.

My background is in industrial automation, mainly Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens TIA Portal, robotics, and high-precision motion systems, delivering machines that actually run in production, not just in simulations.

Recently I've been expanding deeper into the software side: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and modern web technologies, building interfaces and tools around industrial systems.

I enjoy solving problems that sit between the physical and digital worlds: machines, data, and the software that ties them together.

Originally from Central Europe but living in Finland for over 25 years, I work comfortably in several languages and across cultures.

Outside of engineering I invest in real estate projects (where this blog sits on), and experiment with new technology stacks, usually by actually building something with them
